Info

The project incuded several different shots including huge langscape shots showing the Limes, Lauchheim etc. as well as a traditional-funeral scene, based on recent excarvations in Trossingen (near Freiburg).

Except the camera paths I was basicaly responsible for most of the funeral shots contents. Modeling all of the grave-furniture, materials and shaders as well as creating a mystical lightsetup. It was also a very interesting aspect to reconstruct the lyre, which infact is kind of an ancestor of modern guitars.

Info

Those shots were more or less a straight forward thing according to Faber Courtials workflow.

Nevertheless there was a lot of modeling involved to realise the shots. Those tasks varied from polishing/detailing stock-housemodels from recent projects as well as creating a lot of scene-props and creating complete new house-types based on research.

I was also in charge to realise the fortress-walls of the Runderberg-fortress as well as scene-decoration.
