Propably the most exciting project I was allowed to work on so far.
The creation of an augmented reality rollercoaster ride, which is actually supposed to work while riding an actual rollercoaster!

Wearing an Oculus Rift during a rollercoaster-ride comes within multiple problems such as perfect syncronisation between the virtual world you move in, and the real-movements from the rollercoaster. To prevent motion sickness its furthermore indispensable to keep the app running smoothly at 60 FPS.

Working in a group of 4Students we decided to sent the visitors on a prehistoric Sci-Fi-Race where not all the racers will survive! Workflow was from modeling, animation and texture-baking in 3DS Max right into Unity 3D. The experience of riding a highspeed, megacoaster while beeing kicked into a virtual World is an overall stunning experience.

My main field of work here was the implementation into Unity 3D as well as modeling/animating dinosaurs and creating some Level-Assets.
